Abstract
Imbalance of power is one of the factors that provokes violent acts by society activists. In this context, the works of writers and artists, as active members of society, help to reveal the prevailing violence and its hidden dimensions through symbols and narratives. This increases collective consciousness and makes it possible to analyze its social and political roots without falling into the trap of directly justifying violence. Slavi Žižek, in the second chapter, i try to find a new view about the concept of violence. he divides the violence into two types of blatant violence and hidden violence that each has different types. This research examines the novel "Thorn and Clove" by Yahya Sinwar - which was written during his long imprisonment and depicts the life under Israeli occupation through prison experiences, the daily resistance of the Palestinian people - in the framework of Žižek's theory of violence. the present study shows that violence acts as a cross - interwoven network in this network, system violence is the system of occupation which is manifested in the form of prison, land occupation and structural deprivation .in the face of this mechanism, analysis of events and the collective reaction of prisoners show that the acts of mythological violence, even when it causes the destruction of the existing order, can symbolically result in reproduction of collective power and social changes.
