Abstract
  Abdul Qaher Al-Jerjani was distinguished in vision accuracy and reasoning of method, which helped him to deal with the case of Koranic Inwlnerability through his research in versification, after having polarized all its aspects to become a theory which studies confirm its correctness through the ages.  He could have that without his possession to the "linguistic" expertise based on a true  vision for cases that still in research, this expertise was a safe foundation, paved to sound method, enabled him to reach the greatest results.  We attempt in this research to show his attitudes to the most essential cases, on itsfoundations his rhetorical thought was erected, and which were the crutches that enforced the structure of versification theory, and represented in the grammatical foundation, and the organic relation between language and thought, and this leads us observe his vision of therelation between language and society, and then exhibits his position in the case of locality which is still under research by the scholars, to stand finally at the phenomenon of the connotational transfonnation which fonns a fertile field for linguistic innovation, which made it common phenomenon between literary studies and the linguistic studies.
