Journal Article 2017 01 28 This article deals with the deviation of verbs from the canonical <br /> Tense. This phenomenon is now of much significance from linguists and people concerned with stylistics. This stylistic strategy used by poets and authors has aesthetic and rhetorical dimensions in which they want to impress their audience by going against the accepted syntactic norms. Deviating from the normal usage causes the verbs to convey meanings different from what they appear to convey. So, we consider this phenomenon in the light of contemporary syntactic and rhetorical research, acknowledging that there are alternative terms for it. We will also specify the different forms and realizations of this phenomenon. It is a syntactic and rhetorical process which materializes one of the potentials of Arabic language, I,e., its ability to convey multiple meanings. This is a process in which the language usage goes against the norms of language and this deviation can be discovered by linguists when they examine the linguistic product. يتناول هذا البحثُ ظاهرة العدول في صيغ الأفعال، الّتي شكّلتْ مَشغلاً ذا أهميّة بارزة لأصحاب الدّراسات اللغويّة والأسلوبيّة؛ فأعطوها بُعداً جماليّاً ودلاليّاً، وهذا العدول عن الصيغ الأصليّة للأفعال في السّياق النصّي، له أبعاد بلاغيّة، ومقاصد بيانيّة، يعمد إليه النّاظم، فيكشف عن وجه من وجوه البيان الدّلالي الّذي يفاجئ المتلقي، ويثير دهشته، لمخالفته القواعد المألوفة في العرف النحوي؛ لأنّ التّركيب المعدول دلاليّاً، يؤدّي معنىً مخالفاً لما هو ظاهر، ممّا يحدو بنا إلى الوقوف على مفهوم العدول، وتحديد المصطلح في الدراسات النحوية والبلاغية، مع تلمس وجود مايقابل هذا المصطلح من مصطلحات أخرى في الدراسات الأسلوبية المعاصرة، وتحديد صوره وأنماطه في صيغ الأفعال، إذ إنّها ظاهرة نحويّة، بلاغيّة، أسلوبية، تبرز وجهاً من وجوه جماليات العربية من قدرات فائقة في التعدد الدلالي.    والعدول مصطلح يقوم على مخالفة قواعد اللغة، نشأ بصورة مغايرة لما هو مألوف في الاستعمال المتعارف عليه، من خلال ملاحظة اللغويين تراكيب خالفت القاعدة الأصل. https://lasem.semnan.ac.ir/article_1355_b8c27b7a1c450ffdacb31483454e0b54.pdf
