The poet of resistance does not have any choice but to write his own destiny and invite others to freedom and independence and be devoted to the interests of his society. A careful look at the contemporary poetry of Tunisia reveals that Abulghasem al-Shabi is one the greatest poets of resistance who firmly believes in freedom and sees himself responsible for his fellow countrymen and Arab nations. He stands against oppression and injustice, takes pride in the brilliant history of his nation and does not accept the current state of affairs. This paper attempts to investigate symbols of resistance in Al-Shabi’s poems as well as his life, personality and culture. It also tries to outline the most important themes in his resistance poems in the following areas: <br />1. Patriotism, <br />2. Resisting colonialism, <br />3. Nationalism. إن شعر المقاومة ركنٌ عظيم من أركان الأدب العربي الحديث، و من أوسع الأبواب الشعرية التي يدور الشعراء في رحابها. فالشاعر المقاوم عليه أن يصنع مصيره بيده و يكون داعياً إلي التحرر و الاستقلال و ملتزماً بقضايا مجتمعه.   إذا أمعنّا النظر في الشعر التونسي المعاصر وجدنا أبا القاسم الشابّي(1909م- 1934م) من أكبر الشعراء المقاومين؛ بحيث كان شديد الإيمان بحريّة الاختيار و مسؤولا  أمام مجتمعه الذي ينتمي إليه، مسايراً شعبه و أبناء قومه، مقاوماً للظلم و الطغيان، مناصراً ضد الظالم، متغنياً بأمجاد شعبه و رافضاً المصالحة مع الواقع الاجتماعي الذي يعيشه شعبه.  يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة الظواهر المختلفة للمقاومة في شعر الشابّي كما يهدف الكشف عن حياة الشاعر و شخصيته و ثقافته، ثم التعرف علي أدبه المقاوم و أهم الموضوعات الواردة فيه و أنماطها التي تمثلت في المحاور التالية: 1- الوطنية 2- كفاح المستعمر 3- القومية العربية (الالتزام القومي) https://lasem.semnan.ac.ir/article_1292_0f5ed2619e5fb7c306e6630e49f8258c.pdf
